Heliograph

A heliograph is a device that sends messages by using sunlight. It works by reflecting sunlight with a mirror to a distant point. When the sun reflects off of the mirror it flashes a signal that another person can see and interpret. This is a really old way of communicating and is still sometimes used in remote places today.
