Helmut Norpoth

Helmut Norpoth is an Austrian-born American political scientist who specializes in presidential election forecasting. He is best known for creating a model which predicts the winner of the US presidential election based on voting trends from previous elections. In simple terms, he studies the history of US voting trends to try and figure out which candidate is likely to win the upcoming presidential election.
