Hemlo, Ontario is a place in Canada where rocks from the earth are mined to find gold. Some people go deep underground to dig for the shiny, yellow metal. The rocks are broken apart and the gold is taken out. The gold is very valuable and can be used to make pretty jewelry, coins or even big bars.
