Henan

Henan is a province in China, kind of like a big state. It's located in the middle part of China and is home to over 94 million people! Can you even imagine that many people in one place?

Henan has lots of different things going on inside it. There are huge cities with tall buildings, like Zhengzhou, and small villages with houses made of mud and straw. There are lots of different types of people living in Henan, too - some are farmers who grow crops like rice and wheat, some work in factories making things like furniture or electronics, and others run small businesses like shops and restaurants.

One really cool thing about Henan is that it has a really long history. People have been living in this area for thousands and thousands of years! They've left behind lots of artifacts and things to help us understand what life was like in the past. For example, you might have heard of the Terracotta Army - these are thousands of clay soldiers that were buried in the ground over 2,000 years ago by an ancient emperor. They were discovered in Henan not too long ago and now attract visitors from all over the world!
