ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Henschel Hs 293

Okay kiddo, have you ever played with a remote controlled car or airplane? The Henschel HS 293 is kind of like a remote controlled bomb. It was a type of guided missile used during World War II by the German military.

The HS 293 worked by being dropped from an airplane and then using a small radio to communicate with the aircraft. The person controlling the airplane could steer the missile towards a target, like a ship or a building.

The missile had a big explosive inside of it, so when it hit its target it could do a lot of damage. The HS 293 was actually one of the first guided missiles ever used in war, so it was a big deal back then.

But, it's important to remember that war and violence are not good things. We should always try to find peace and work together with others instead.
