Heroic bloodshed is a genre of film that comes from Hong Kong. In a heroic bloodshed movie, there will usually be characters who are criminals or gangsters, and the story usually follows their involvement with the criminal world and how they deal with their own personal issues. The characters in these movies usually end up making big and heroic sacrifices for the people that they care about. There is usually a lot of action and violence in these movies, but the heroes usually stand up and fight for what they believe in!
