ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Hesco bastion

Okay kiddo, have you ever seen a fort or a castle with big walls to protect it from bad guys? Well, the Hesco Bastion is kind of like that! But instead of being made of stone, it's made of something called wire mesh and heavy-duty fabric.

So, how does it work? Imagine a big -- and I mean really big -- pillow. But instead of being soft and fluffy, it's filled with dirt, gravel or even sand. Then, this "pillow" is wrapped in a thick net of metal wire.

Now, here's where it gets interesting: when you need to use the Hesco Bastion, you can unfold it and put it anywhere you like. It's very convenient! You could set it up in a hurry to make a barrier to stop water or even to stop enemies.

And the best part? Because it's literally just a big bag full of dirt, it's really tough and can take a lot of hits without breaking -- just like a fortress wall! That's why the Hesco Bastion is used by soldiers and people in areas with lots of natural disasters to help keep them safe.
