Hestia

Hestia is a goddess from ancient Greek mythology. She was the goddess of the hearth, which is like a special area where people would cook food and keep warm by the fire.

Picture a big fireplace in your house where your family gathers around to cook and stay warm. Hestia was basically like the manager or boss of that fireplace.

People would pray to Hestia to keep their home and families safe and warm. They would also make offerings to her, like food or flowers, as a way of showing respect and asking for her help.

Even though Hestia was an important part of Greek mythology, she didn't have a lot of stories or adventures written about her. She was more like a background character who helped everyone else out behind the scenes.

But just because she didn't have a lot of stories doesn't mean she wasn't important. Hestia was highly respected and considered to be one of the most important goddesses, because she was responsible for keeping the home and family safe and warm.
