ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Hexdame

Hexdame is a board game that is similar to checkers. It is played on a board with a checkered pattern. Each player starts with 12 pieces called "hexes" that are placed on the board. The hexes can only move diagonally and can only take an opponent's piece by jumping over it, just like checkers. However, in hexdame, the board has a hexagonal shape instead of a square shape like in checkers.

The objective of the game is to capture all of your opponent's hexes or to block them so they can't move anymore. The game ends when one player captures or blocks all of their opponent's hexes.

In hexdame, there are different types of hexes that have different abilities. The "queen hex" can move diagonally like a regular hex, but it can also move one space in any direction. This makes the queen hex a very powerful piece that can move quickly and in several directions.

The game can be played on different board sizes, and the number of pieces can also vary. Hexdame is a fun and challenging game that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.
