High-Altitude Long Endurance

High-altitude long endurance is when something, like an airplane or a drone, flies really high up in the sky and can stay there for a really long time without having to come down to the ground.

This is possible because when things fly really high up, the air gets thinner, which means there is less air resistance. This makes it easier for things to keep going without using as much energy.

To make sure the airplane or drone doesn't run out of fuel or power, it usually has special equipment and technology like solar panels or efficient engines.

High-altitude long endurance is important because it can be used for things like surveillance, monitoring the weather, or even communication. It allows people to keep tabs on things from far away without needing to physically be there all the time.
