Okay kiddo, so there are places in the United States called metropolitan statistical areas, or MSAs for short. These are areas that include a big city and the smaller towns and suburbs around it. They are ranked by how much money the people who live there make. The ones with the most money are called the highest-income MSAs. This means that the people who live there have jobs that pay a lot of money and they can afford to buy nice things like big houses, fancy cars, and vacations. Some of the highest-income MSAs in the US are places like San Francisco, New York City, and Washington DC. But just because someone lives in a high-income MSA doesn't mean they are automatically rich or happy. It's important to remember that money can't buy everything and that people's happiness doesn't depend on how much money they make.
