Hinduism in Afghanistan

Okay kiddo, let's talk about Hinduism in Afghanistan.

Hinduism is a religion that started in India. Hindus believe in many gods and goddesses and they have many holy books to guide them in their lives.

Now, Afghanistan is a country that is next to India, but it is not a Hindu country. Most people in Afghanistan practice a different religion called Islam. However, a long time ago, there were many Hindus who lived in Afghanistan as well.

These Hindus came to Afghanistan from India a very long time ago, probably over 1,000 years ago. They brought their Hindu religion with them and built many temples and shrines in Afghanistan. These temples were very beautiful and were a place for Hindus to pray and worship their gods.

But over time, things changed. Afghanistan became a Muslim country, and many of the Hindus left or were forced to leave Afghanistan. As a result, most of the Hindu temples and shrines were destroyed or abandoned. Today, there are only a few Hindus left in Afghanistan, and they don't have many places to worship.

So, in summary, Hinduism used to be practiced in Afghanistan a long time ago, but it is not a Hindu country anymore. Most people in Afghanistan practice Islam, and there are only a few Hindus left who don't have many places to worship.
