Historic Sites of Okinawa

Okinawa is a place where a lot of people used to live a very long time ago. They built houses and buildings, and they did lots of things there. These places that they built a long time ago are called historic sites. These sites are special because they tell us about what life was like a long time ago in Okinawa.

Some of the historic sites in Okinawa are the castles that people used to live in. These castles were like big, strong houses that were built for people who were in charge, like kings or queens.
