History of Christian theology

Christian theology is the study of the teachings of Jesus Christ and of God. It is based on the Bible and on other teachings written by people in the early Christian church. Christianity is one of the oldest and largest religions in the world. Its history can be traced all the way back to the time of Jesus, who was born in the Middle East around 2,000 years ago. After Jesus died, his followers started to spread his teachings, sometimes in written form. Over time, these teachings were collected together, along with other writings about God and the teachings of Jesus, and became the Bible that we know today. Christian theology is the study of these teachings and beliefs, from Jesus to the present day. It helps people understand what Jesus meant and how it might apply to their life in the modern world.
