History of United States foreign policy

The United States foreign policy is a set of laws and decisions that the U.S. government makes about how it interacts with other countries. From the time the United States was founded, in 1776, it has been involved in international relations, making treaties and agreements, sending ambassadors and diplomats, and participating in different wars. In the late 1800s and early 1900s, the U.S. became more involved in global affairs, and the different presidents would focus their foreign policies on different topics, like trade or military alliances. Today, the United States is one of the most powerful countries in the world, and the president and Congress have a big role in shaping the foreign policy of the country.
