History of dental treatments

Okay kiddo, so way way back in the olden times, people didn't really have toothbrushes, toothpaste or dentist offices like we do today. They had to use things like sticks or even animal bones to clean their teeth.

As time went on, people would try to find ways to fix their teeth if they were damaged. One thing they would do is use metals like gold or silver to fill in the holes in their teeth.

In the 1700s, people started to figure out that sugar was causing a lot of problems with people's teeth. So they started to try to prevent cavities by brushing their teeth regularly with things like salt or baking soda.

Later on, in the 1800s, dentists started to use anesthesia to make it easier for people to get their teeth fixed without feeling any pain. They also started to use advanced tools to extract teeth and shape fillings.

Nowadays, we have modern dentistry! We can use machines to scan our teeth and see what needs fixing, and we have even more advanced toothbrushes and toothpaste to help keep our teeth healthy. Dentists also have more advanced tools and technology to help keep our teeth in good shape, and we can even get braces to help straighten our teeth.

So that's a short history of dental treatments, from the days of using animal bones to our modern world of advanced technology and toothbrushes that light up!
