History of hypertext

Hypertext is a way of organizing information on a computer. It was first invented in the 1960s. It's a way to link different pieces of information together so it can be accessed easily. For example, if you had a list of countries, cities and parks in a document, you could link each one to a more detailed description. This way, someone could quickly jump from the list to the detailed information. Hypertext also made it possible to create websites, where different pages can be linked together. This allowed people to create websites with a lot of information and navigate them quickly and easily.
