Hiten (spacecraft)
Hiten is something called a spacecraft. It was made by people a long time ago so that it could go up into space and explore things up there.
Now, you know that the earth is round, right? And it travels around the sun, which is a big star. Well, the spacecraft was made to go up and travel around the moon, which is a big ball that goes around the earth.
Hiten had some really cool gadgets on it, like cameras and instruments that could help people on earth learn more about the moon. It could tell us what the moon was made of and how it moved around the earth.
So, one day, the spacecraft went up into space and traveled around the moon for a while. It took lots of pictures and measurements, which it sent back down to the people on earth so they could study them.
