Hong Kong is a city located in a special region called China. It is made up mostly of islands. People in Hong Kong have their own laws, education system, and currency. However, the Chinese government still has a lot of control over things in Hong Kong so the people don't have as much freedom as people in other countries. People in Hong Kong speak Cantonese and English and the city is known for its amazing skyline, parks, shops, and restaurants.
