Horned helmet

A horned helmet is a type of hat that was worn a long time ago by Vikings and some other warriors. It was made of metal, leather or hard wood and had big pointy things called horns sticking out of the sides. Some people think that Vikings wore them into battle, but we don't really know that for sure. It's also possible that they were just used for special occasions, like when people were performing plays or ceremonies. Nowadays, sometimes people wear horned helmets as part of a costume or for fun, but they are not actually used in battle.
