Horror fiction

Horror fiction is stories about things that can be scary. They often contain monsters, ghosts, witches and other scary things. Most horror fiction is meant to be scary and thrilling - to make you feel scared, excited and even a bit uneasy. Many stories also explore the darker side of human nature, examining topics like murder, violence, and suspense. Some authors even use horror fiction to critique society and its issues.
