Horsepower

Horsepower is like a measurement of how strong a car or other machine is. It's named after horses because a long time ago, people used horses to pull heavy things instead of machines. So when someone says a car has 200 horsepower, it means it's as strong as 200 horses working together. The more horsepower a car has, the faster it can go and the easier it can pull heavy things. It's kinda like muscles in your body, the more muscles you have, the stronger you are. And, just like how some people are stronger than others, some cars have more horsepower than others too.
