Horses in East Asian warfare

Okay kiddo, back in the old days, before there were cars or tanks, people used horses as their main way of getting around. And because they were so good at running fast and carrying heavy things, they were also used in battles.

In East Asia, armies used horses in several ways during battles. One common way was using them to charge at the enemy. This means that the soldiers on horseback would ride really fast towards the other army, swinging weapons like swords and spears to try and take down as many enemies as possible.

Another way they used horses was to carry things like weapons, food, and supplies. This made it easier for the soldiers to move around and be prepared for battle. Plus, if they needed to make a quick escape, having horses around made it much faster and easier to get away.

But, just like people, horses can get injured or even killed in battle. So, soldiers had to be careful to protect their horses as much as possible. They would put armor on the horses to protect them from enemy weapons, and sometimes even give them special diets to keep them strong and healthy.

So you see, horses were really important in East Asian warfare. They helped soldiers move around quickly and carry things they needed for battle. And even though they were at risk of getting hurt, soldiers made sure to protect them as best they could.
