Household electricity approach

Household electricity is one of the basic ways that people get energy to power their homes, usually through an electric meter. The meter tracks how much electricity people use and sends this information to a power company so that people can be billed for the energy that they use. Electricity enters the home through wires from the power company and goes through a breaker box. The breaker box has switches to control how much electricity goes to each device in the home like lights, appliances, and outlets.
