ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Humanitism

Well kiddo, humanitarianism is when people care about the well-being of other humans who may be in need. This means that they take action to help these people with things like food, clean water, shelter, and medical care.

It all started when people began to realize that everyone deserves to be treated with kindness and respect, no matter where they come from or what they believe in. Humanitarianism is an important part of making the world a kinder and more equal place.

Think of it like being a good friend to someone who needs help. When we see someone struggling, we want to do what we can to make things better for them. That's what humanitarianism is all about, helping our friends in need.
