ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Hungarian alphabet

Okay kiddo, so you know how we use the alphabet to write words and sentences in English, right? Well, the Hungarian language has its own alphabet too! It has 44 letters and some of them look really different from the ones we have in English.

For example, they have a letter called "ö" which looks like two dots on top of the letter "o". And they also have a letter called "s" which has a little mark above it that makes it sound like "sh".

When people in Hungary write words, they use these special letters along with some that look like the ones we use in English but might sound different. It's kind of like a secret code that only people who speak Hungarian can read and understand!

So there you have it, the Hungarian alphabet is just like our English alphabet, but with some extra letters and sounds. Cool, huh?
