Hydrostatic bubbles are tiny pockets of air or other gases that are trapped in certain liquids. They form when the liquid is moving, like if you pour it into a container and it forms bubbles in it. The bubbles can be seen floating in the liquid. They are caused by the pressure of the liquid pushing up against the gas, trapping it. The bubbles will stay in the liquid until something causes them to burst, like stirring or shaking it.
