Hylomorphism (computer science)

Hylomorphism (computer science) is when a computer is able to take a complex problem and break it down into smaller parts. This makes it easier to solve by breaking the problem into simpler parts. For example, if you had a complicated math problem that involved a lot of steps and calculations, you could use hylomorphism to break the problem into smaller pieces and then use the pieces to find the solution. This way, you wouldn't have to solve the whole problem at once.
