Hypervitaminosis D

Hypervitaminosis D is what happens when you have too much vitamin D in your body. Vitamin D is a really good vitamin that helps our bodies build strong bones and teeth, and also helps our muscles work properly.

But if we get too much vitamin D, it can actually be bad for us. It can make us sick and cause problems with our bones, kidneys, and even our heart.

Just like with any other vitamin, we get vitamin D from the foods we eat and from being out in the sun. But sometimes, people take too many vitamin D supplements, or their bodies can't get rid of the vitamin D as quickly as it's coming in, and that can lead to hypervitaminosis D.

So whenever you take vitamins, it's important to not take too many at once and follow the instructions on the package. And remember, it's always a good idea to talk to an adult or a doctor before taking any vitamins or supplements.
