Although it looks like just a simple object, it actually takes many people, products, and processes to put together all the materials that eventually form a pencil. For example, a pencil needs wood, lead, paint, graphite, and more to make it complete. It takes people like woodcutters, chemists, and others to provide the supplies to make the pencil, and a factory to assemble the pieces. A pencil may seem simple, but there's actually a lot that goes into making it!
