IATA Operational Safety Audit

The IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) is a program created by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) to help make sure that airlines and airports are following safety rules and regulations. It is a rigorous audit of an airline or airport's safety processes and operations that is done by an independent auditor. The audit evaluates the airline's or airport's policies, procedures, management, and organizing structures to make sure they are following all safety standards. The audit also looks at everything from the training and qualifications of staff to the safety and maintenance of aircrafts and airports. The goal of IOSA is to ensure that all airlines and airports are complying with international safety standards, making travel safer for passengers.
