ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships

Okay kiddo, so the icf canoe slalom world championships are a big competition where people race in canoes on a man-made course with lots of twists and turns.

At this competition, people from all over the world (like Australia, USA, China, and more) come to compete against each other. They paddle down the course as fast as they can and try to avoid touching any of the poles that are set up in the water.

It's a really fun and exciting sport to watch, and the people who compete in it have to be very skilled paddlers. They also have to be very fit and strong because it takes a lot of energy to paddle through the course quickly.

At the end of the competition, the person who finishes the course the fastest without touching any of the poles is declared the winner and gets a medal. So it's basically like watching a race where the people paddle canoes instead of running, and they try to be the fastest and the best!
