IDN homograph attack

An idn homograph attack is a type of cyber attack that tries to trick you into going to a website that looks like another website that you might trust. For example, someone might register a website that looks like the website for a real bank, but instead it is a fake website that is actually run by a hacker. The hacker then tries to get you to put in your personal info (like your username and password) on the fake website, so that they can try to steal information from you. It’s like someone made a copy of something that looks exactly like the real thing, but it is actually dangerous.
