ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

IP in IP

IP in IP is a type of data tunneling. It means that data packets (small chunks of data sent between two computers) that are sent over one kind of Internet Protocol (IP) can be wrapped up inside packets that are sent with another kind of IP. This wrapping up is like putting a package into a bigger package. Because the bigger package is sent using a different IP type, it can travel through areas that the smaller package would not have been able to access. This can help keep data transfer fast and secure.
