Iconolatry

Iconolatry is when people worship images or statues of gods or holy figures. It's like a type of religious worship, but instead of getting down on your knees and praying, you bow down in front of a statue or picture of the deity you believe in. People can also give offerings, like flowers or food, to the images or statues to show their respect and admiration.
