Identical Strangers: A Memoir of Twins Separated and Reunited

Okay kiddo, have you ever seen another kid who looks just like you? Well, imagine if you had a twin brother or sister who looked exactly the same as you.

Now, sometimes babies are born and their parents can't take care of them, so they give them to other families to raise. But sometimes, the twins get separated and sent to different families. This means they don't grow up together and don't know that they have a twin out there somewhere.

That's what happened to two people named Elyse and Paula. They were born as identical twins, but were separated when they were babies and didn't know about each other. They grew up in different families, in different parts of the world.

But one day, when they were twenty-five years old, Elyse saw a picture of Paula and realized she was looking at a picture of herself! They found each other and reunited, and it was like finding a missing part of themselves.

They found out that even though they grew up apart, they had a lot of things in common, like their taste in music and their interest in art. They were amazed at how much they looked alike and how similar their personalities were.

So, the book "Identical Strangers" tells the story of Elyse and Paula and how they were separated and then reunited as adults. It shows us how important family is and how much we can learn about ourselves by getting to know our relatives.
