Ideology and Ideological State Apparatuses

Ideology is a set of beliefs that somebody or a group of people follows and try to pursue. Ideological state apparatuses are the systems in society that try to spread that belief, for example schools and the media. Basically, it's a way for the government to control people's beliefs and behavior by spreading their own beliefs through those systems.
