Illegal dumping

Okay, so you know how we put our trash in the trash can and then the garbage truck comes and takes it away? Well, sometimes people are too lazy or don't want to pay to get rid of their trash properly. So, they throw it on the ground or leave it in places where it shouldn't be. This is called illegal dumping.

Illegal dumping is bad because it can harm the environment and make our communities look dirty and dangerous. When people dump their trash in the wrong places, it can pollute the soil, water, and air. This can harm plants and animals and make people sick. It can also attract rats and other animals that can spread diseases.

Illegal dumping can happen anywhere. People may dump their trash in a park, on the side of the road, or in a vacant lot. Sometimes, people even dump hazardous materials like chemicals or old electronics which are dangerous to people and the environment.

Remember: it's important to put your trash in the trash can so that it can be taken away safely. If you see someone dumping illegally, tell an adult or call the police. We all need to work together to keep our communities clean and safe!
