Immigration policies of American labor unions are the rules and laws that determine how people from other countries can work in the United States. A labor union is an organization of people who work in the same industry and who join together to protect their rights. Because many of the people working in certain industries in the United States come from other countries, labor unions have to make sure that those workers are treated fairly and are allowed to work in the U.S. legally.
