Immunoproteomics

When we get sick, our body has an army of soldiers called the immune system that fights off the germs causing the illness. Immunoproteomics is like a way to study and understand these soldiers better.

Now, imagine that the soldiers in the immune system are made up of tiny parts called proteins. Scientists use special tools to find, collect, and study these proteins. By doing this, they can learn a lot about how the immune system works and how to make it even stronger.

Think of it like finding clues in a treasure hunt. Scientists are searching for clues (proteins) to better understand how to keep our bodies healthy and keep illnesses from invading.

Immunoproteomics can help scientists create new vaccines to prevent diseases or new medicines to treat them. It helps them understand how the immune system reacts to different illnesses and how to make our defenses even stronger.
