Inaugurated eschatology is a way of understanding the Bible that looks at how things that happen in the Bible, especially in the New Testament, relate to the end of the world. It teaches that the world as we know it is not going to end all at once, but that in Jesus' death, resurrection, and ascension, God began a process that will eventually result in the transformation of our world into a perfect, peaceful, and loving place. So, even though the world is not yet perfect, we believe that someday it will be because God began that transformation through Jesus.
