Independence Hall

Independence Hall is a building in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is most famous for being the place where the Declaration of Independence and United States Constitution were both signed on July 4th and September 17th, 1787. The building was also the location of the First Continental Congress in 1774, where a plan was formed to unite the colonies and defend their rights as American citizens. Today, it is a part of the Independence National Historic Park and serves as a symbol of the birth of the United States of America.
