Independent Augustinian Communities

Okay kiddo, imagine there are lots of groups of people who live in different places. These groups have their own rules and ways of doing things. One of these groups is called "independent augustinian communities".

This means that the people who live in these communities believe in the ideas of a man named Augustine, who was a wise person a long time ago. They try to live their lives in a way that follows his teachings.

But, even though they all believe in the same ideas, each community makes its own rules and decisions about how to live their lives. They don't rely on a bigger group or government to tell them what to do.

So, basically, the independent augustinian communities are groups of people who believe in the same thing and try to live their lives in a certain way, but they make their own choices and live in their own little worlds.
