Independent Broad-based Anti-corruption Commission

An independent broad-based anti-corruption commission is a group of people who work together to make sure people in power (like politicians and police officers) are doing their jobs fairly and honestly. They check to make sure that nobody is cheating, lying or stealing. They also help to stop people from doing bad things or making bad choices that hurt other people or the environment. The commission is independent, which means nobody can tell them what to do or how to do it. They are free to make their own decisions and investigate things without interference. They are also "broad-based", which means they use information from lots of different people and places to help make their decisions. This makes sure that everyone's voice is heard and no one is left out.
