Independent Catholicism

Independent Catholicism is kinda like playing a different game of pretend with your friends. Normally when you pretend to be Catholic, you follow the rules and directions of the people who started pretending to be Catholic a long time ago. But some people want to play Catholic in a different way, so they make up their own rules and directions. These people are called Independent Catholics. They still believe in God and Jesus and all that stuff, but they want to do things their own way. It's kinda like when you and your friends want to play a game of pretend, but one of you wants to change the rules a little bit. It's still the same game, but it's different.
