Indian Ocean in World War II

The Indian Ocean is a very big ocean located near India. During World War II, it was an important place for a few reasons. First, it was used as a route to transport soldiers and supplies from different countries to different parts of the world. Second, countries in the Indian Ocean often had battles against each other on ships, airplanes, and even submarines. Finally, it was also used by some countries as an area to hide their ships and submarines to surprise their enemies.
