ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Indigenous (ecology)

Indigenous ecology is all about understanding how certain plants and animals live and survive in certain environments. It's about looking at what land and water resources are available, what kind of plants and animals live there and how they interact with each other. It's about understanding what helps the environment to be balanced and healthy. Basically, it's about understanding the natural environment so that it can be protected and conserved.
