Imagine you have a really cool hat. Now imagine that the top part of your hat is shaped like a square with little lines on it. That square shape is called a "capital".
Now, if you went to a special place called India a long, long time ago, you might see people making hats like yours, but with really fancy decorations all over them. These decorations had patterns of leaves, flowers, and animals. These special hats were called "indo" because they were made in India.
But then, people from another special place called Corinth came to India and saw these fancy hats. They thought they were so cool that they started making their own hats like them too! But the patterns on their hats were a little bit different.
And when these two groups of people worked together, they made a special kind of hat that was both fancy and unique. This fancy hat had the square shape from the Corinth people, but had the cool decorations from the India people. And that square-shaped part of the hat is called an "indo-corinthian capital". It's a way of bringing together two different styles to make something special and beautiful.
