ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Industrial applicability

Industrial applicability means that something can be used or applied in industry. This means that it can be used in factories or businesses to produce things that people need or want to buy.

Think about a toy: It needs to be made of materials that can be easily shaped and molded, and it needs to be durable so it can withstand being played with. It also needs to be safe so that children can play with it without getting hurt. If a toy meets all of these requirements, it has industrial applicability – it can be used and sold in toy factories and stores.

The same goes for many other things – like machines, tools, chemicals, and even software. Before something can be used in industry, it needs to be tested and proven to work well and be safe. If it meets these requirements, it has industrial applicability and can be used to make products that people need and want.
