ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Industrial espionage

Industrial Espionage is when people try to steal secrets from businesses to give to rival companies. It's like a secret mission where people try to get information or products that will give them a competitive advantage. For example, if a company has a really good recipe for a new kind of cookie, a rival company might try to spy on them and get access to the recipe so that they can make their own version of the cookie and sell it.
